Free Prague Tours

free prague tours If you are visiting Prague on a budget this doesn't mean you can't do any tours. There is a company called Free Prague Tours which is run by English Speaking licensed guides who are also history buffs.

They depend on tips at the end of the tour so if you do have any money spare please do contribute a small amount. This is a way of showing your appreciation and will help to keep this project going.

The tours run 7 days a week rain or shine and no booking is necessary. You can just turn up. The starting point is in the Old Town Square on the corner of Parizska Street.

The tours run twice a day at 10.30 am and 2.00pm. There is also a magic flashlight tour each night at 8.00pm. This one however is not free and costs 200 CZK. It is worth doing though at this good price and involves ghost stories, murders, fact and fiction, sorcery and eccentric humour.

The free tours are also very good. You can choose between the Right Bank Free Tour which includes Old Town Square, New Town, Jewish Ghetto and everything to the right of the Vltava River. The Left Benk Free Tour is a story of everything to the left of the river including Mala Strana, Prague Castle and Hradcany.

So before you spend too much money booking excursions check out these free ones first and you might just learn all you need to know about Prague.
