About Find Prague Hotels

Hi and welcome to this website which is dedicated to hotels in Prague.

Prague is one of my favourite cities which I have visited on a number of occasions and that is why I have created this website. It always amazes me how the city can be so beautiful at all different times of the year.

One of my favourite times to visit is in the Winter when the city is covered with a blanket of snow making it very picturesque. It's nice at that time of year to sit outside a quaint cafe in Old Town Square and people watch with a hot drink. Be warned though, Prague is absolutely freezing cold in the winter (much colder than the UK) and thermal clothes and 2 pairs of socks are a must. I speak from experience!

New Years eve is a fabulous time to visit as Prague has a fascination with fireworks and the displays at midnight on New Year's eve are beathtaking. There is also an age old tradition of throwing fireworks at each other in Old Town Square, a tradidion I didn't take part in but watched from the safety of a roof top bar. :-)

Spring and Autumn are prime times for site seeing and exploring the city when the weather is mild and the city is not too crowded.

Summer is a lovely time of year for outdoor activities such as boat trips and romantic evening meals outside restaurants overlooking famous sites such as Charles Bridge.

So you get the idea, in my opinion there is no "right time" of year to go. It's always great! So go whenever suits you and you can always return to experience the city at different times of year as I'm sure once you see Prague it will be a place you will want to return to.

And with the arrival of budget airlines and no frills flights to Prague from most regional airports, there has never been a better or cheaper time to go.
